The Borough market is a big farmer's market under London bridge. It has been around forever and they have it on the weekends during the summer months. We have been wanting to check it out so decided Saturday was our last chance! It is in the financial district and has become a popular area for young single professionals. We would probably come here every weekend if we didn't have the kids (as we say about much of London, ha!). But I wouldn't change it for anything! I have loved being here with our little family and the kids being with us have just made it a richer experience :)
On the train!
Brylie did not want her picture taken...
Pretty area!
Southwark Cathedral by the bridge (the oldest cathedral church building in London).
The market is just under the bridge.
Turned around to take a pic of the Shard London Bridge (tallest in the EU).
These all look yummy don't they? More about this later :)
We saw as much as we could but as you can tell it was hard to maneuver through the crowd with a double stroller and whiny toddlers!
Geoff and I had one of London's "uber" burgers!
So many mushrooms!
We got some cupcakes to take to our next stop with us...Brylie is pointing out the pink one :)
