This week Brylie started ballet classes. What is cuter than little girls and ballet??? :) We decided to go with a class in Wimbledon village that is quite proper!! The ladies that teach the classes used to dance with the Royal Ballet and there is a professional pianist that plays during all the classes. We also had to go to a special store to get her regulation imperial standard leotard, etc.! Anyway, even with all of the fuss, it looks like it will be super fun for her and of course I love it too! :)
Today was her first class and she was so excited and not nervous a bit (of course, this is Brylie after all!). She is becoming a little lady and so grown up...so sad for this Mommy! Can't get enough of this girl!! :)
All the girls lined up and went in the room. I don't think we were supposed to take pictures but I snapped a quick one with my phone before they shut the doors! Afterwards, the teacher said she did great and Brylie said she loved it! Success :) Can't wait for the recital at the end of the term!

OMG, I can't get enough of these ballet pictures! She looks so grown up- and like a natural ballerina!!
I loved ballet all growing up and used to dream of being a professional dancer...until I realized in high school that wasn't going to happen. Anyway, I wish I had a little girl to send to ballet class (I don't think my boys will go for it- haha), so I will just live vicariously through you!! :-)
Megan just started ballet too! Those tights and socks kill me. She will wear something like that too. Wish we were closer and could take together. Sigh!
