We've all been feeling better and healthy around here so that has been nice! The weather continues to be unpredictable, but overall it has been good - in the 60's and 70's and partly sunny...I will look outside and it is sunny, then I will get the kids dressed, our bag packed, load up the stroller, and step outside in the rain! :) But no complaints - I know all of you in Texas are trying to survive the heat!
We are definitely more settled in lately and feel glad to be here and happy and grateful to have this experience! Geoff continues to be swamped with work, but is off every weekend at least so we try to take advantage of that and have quality time with Daddy!
We are going to Legoland in Windsor on Saturday so more pics to come then!
Truett is enjoying some broccoli - he doesn't want baby food anymore so I just cut up whatever we are eating!

Mommy's little helper - she loves to feed him and just this week I was able to get him to drink from a bottle (not formula mind you - he is still very resistant - that is whole milk - figured it was close enough to a year to be okay!)

Yesterday in line at the grocery store we met Amy from Michigan and her two boys Chris (1yr.) and Adam (almost 3). We met up this morning for story time at the library and had a lot of fun together! It was so nice to meet another expat and she had some great advice after living here a year already! Plus her boys are pretty much the same ages as Truett and Brylie so they have two new friends and had a blast together :)
This is Truett and Chris

Brylie and Adam. First of all, I LOVE that red hair! They held hands all morning and it was precious!!! When we left she kept saying, "Mommy where is my friend?" :)

Too cute!!
