We had to cancel our out of town plans for the week so we decided to do some fun things here in town! We had some nice weather and wanted to take advantage of a little sunshine...
We have been talking about building a small elevated garden in the back so that we can enjoy some of our own herbs and vegetables this summer. We figured this was the perfect week to do it! Family project outside, yay! It is a little early to plant anything so we are waiting another week or two...the kids are all pitching in with ideas of what they would like to grow (just a few! we are starting small!).
They took turns pretending to be a seed that is growing :)
He loved helping Daddy with all the tools! FYI, you don't have to wear pants during Spring Break week ;)
Lots of soil to be moved and poured in!
She said it smelled like poo :)
So tired!
Done!! :) The kids want to plant summer squash, green beans, and some herbs...
