Santa and Frozen

The weekend before Christmas we found ourselves with a free day and even Daddy was able to get away from work for a bit (this is his busy season).  We all got up and decided to go see Santa (yes, it was the Saturday before Christmas and we knew we might regret it, but went for it anyway!).  There was a line of course, but it wasn't too bad!  The kids had fun and we all got to talk and catch up while we waited...then we were off to lunch and to a movie!  Yes, we braved the crowds at Northpark (another place I try to avoid that time of year!) and took the kids to see Frozen.  We all loved the movie!  We got a parking spot right away and had great seats all together!  We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed all the Christmas cheer around.  We had a good time with just our little family of four!  It got us all in the Christmas spirit and we were ready for our visitors! :)

 The kids have been funny lately hamming it up for pictures :)  These aren't the best quality, but the subjects are hard to resist! ;)
