We are so thankful to live in this little neighborhood that is almost like a small town in the middle of Dallas! It has been fun getting to know everyone and on Halloween all the kids were out and about! Brylie was feeling under the weather, so she just went trick or treating for a little bit, but Truett really had fun with it!
Aunt Sarah dressed up like a My Little Pony to match Brylie and got lots of compliments! Sarah, you are such a great aunt and we love having you just a few minutes away! :)
Even Biggie came over to hand out candy back at our house...thank you Biggie! :)
Our friendly neighbors :)
Brylie saw a girl from her school...another Pony! :)
We were walking back to the house and we heard Truett say, "I'm stuck! I'm stuck!" and turned around to see this :) This wild boy of ours cracks us up!
Checking all the candy for peanuts :)
The next morning, Brylie's school had a character parade for the Kindergarteners. Here is her class following their teacher, Mrs. Baker (we love her!)
6 classes lined the sidewalk and they recited pumpkin poems :)
Yes, that is a very scary looking scarecrow (?) next to her!
She was glad to be feeling better so she could participate! :) Then they all went inside and they got to have a parade through the school. Cute!
