Smith Lake Weekend 2013

We headed out to Kingsland two weeks ago for our annual Smith Lake Weekend (thank you as always to the Purdys for being so generous and sharing your home!!).  It was a great way to end the summer and we all had a fun time together!

Biggie's birthday was Friday and he wanted to take us all to the movies (it is his "thing" with all the grandkids) so we drove into Marble Falls and saw Planes!

While in Marble Falls, we stopped by and saw Uncle Red and Aunt Kate (Biggie's relatives)

But then he perked up and we all had a blast at the movies!

Then back to the lake for some dock jumping!

Ok, so I have a million pictures of the kids on this airplane!  But it was so entertaining for all of us!  Here and later in the post pay close attention to all of their expressions on their faces...they change from terrified to elated and back again :)

For some reason, the kids were struggling getting up on the ski/board (not sure what the technical name is for that thing!).  So this is as close as she got!  Better luck next year! :)

On another note, I finally got up!  Who knew that it would prove difficult after 20 or so years of not skiing?? ;)  I had a very graceful fall (ha!) not too long after!

With Uncle Stacey driving the boat, you never know what you are in for!  Brylie and Truett, we love you and when you look back at this blog book one day don't be mad at us for laughing!  We wanted you guys to have a fun time and a life experience to laugh about later ;)

Back in Waco...baths and movies are a fun way to finish off the weekend!
