We have been talking about Kindergarten all summer so today it has finally arrived! The first day of school! Brylie woke up and said "I can't believe it's finally here!" :) We took Truett to Big and Nannie's house last night so that we could spend the morning with our girl.
At meet the teacher Brylie got this sweet poem with some confetti...
So before bed she sprinkled some under her pillow (to help her go to sleep)
It must have worked (ha!) because she was out just a few minutes later!
So a while back when we got Brylie's new backpack she was asking me what the little plastic window was for...I told her it was to put your name in. I guess at some point over the last few days she took it upon herself to make a little nametag and slide it in there! :) I love this.
This morning she couldn't wait to get her backpack on and wore it all around the house :)
She requested a special breakfast that Daddy made for her (egg pancake with mango).
She said thank you Daddy, I have something for you too...
...a hug! :)
She was very excited to get going this morning and wanted to hurry and walk down to the school. She did let me take a few pictures first :)

Brylie, you are so precious to us and we love you so much! We love your creativity and positive attitude. We are so proud of you and we know you will have a great year in Kindergarten!! :)

Waiting for the bell to ring...she was getting so impatient and didn't want to talk to anyone or take any more pictures...just wanted to go to school already!!
Found her cubby for her backpack and lunchbox :)
