Great Wolf Lodge

This year we decided to pick up my annual birthday trip with our friends Stephen and Danielle.  She and I share a birthday (same age) and in the past we have taken trips together to Puerta Vallarta, Vegas, and San Fransisco.  Then kids came along and we were out of the country...but now we are all back and ready to pick up the tradition again!  We decided to include the kids this year and try to keep it simple so we decided to meet up at the Great Wolf Lodge for the weekend.  It has an indoor waterpark and basically centered around kids/family time.  We had a great time together catching up and the kids hit it off right away!  Since I have been a slacker with pictures/blogging this summer I decided to just copy all the pictures Danielle took over to my blog!  I'm so glad she was able to take a few, because I didn't take any! :)

We had a lot of fun together, but I think next year we might try an adult vacation again! ;)

We spent our big 3-5 downstairs for a pajama/book reading event that the lodge does every night for the kids :)  Danielle and I got to bond over the weekend with cupcakes and Starbucks (where they actually kicked us out at 11pm!)

This was the wave pool inside the waterpark...she is such a sweet baby!  Stephen and Geoff did a good job of helping us wrangle in the kids and making sure no one got lost!
