Well we made it back to Texas safe and sound! I have taken a little blog break the last few weeks :) So now I'll try to catch up!
The flight home went well...the kids did great and we finally made it through customs with a million bags and carry-ons and all the usual kid stuff on a plane :) My parents met us at the aiport and took the kids to Bridgeport where they would spend the next few days - yay! Geoff and I got in a car and sat in the air conditioning all the way to the hotel...in silence...sans kids...bliss after 10 hours on a plane!
So the kids spent some time in the country (that is what we call Bridgeport) with Aunt Cassie and Uncle Teddy and even got to attend Vacation Bible School at their church. They of course had a blast and immediately acclimated themselves back to Texas time and the heat! Geoff and I were meanwhile busy bees back in Dallas! It was so nice to be able to house hunt, run errands, etc. without having to worry about the kids - a hug thank you to the Wheelis household for this - we are very grateful and love ya'll!!! :)
