Happy New Year!!!

Well we are back in London! As usual, it was a whirlwind trip back home in the States and I have some blogging to catch up on! :) We arrived yesterday and are still jetlagged. We rung in the new year with a midnight pizza party (the fireworks woke everyone up at midnight and we are all wide awake!!). We had such a great time with everyone back home, but we are excited about all of the things 2012 has in store for us! We are making the most of our last 6 months in the UK and look forward to getting back on some sort of routine this week! :)

So let me rewind...a few weeks ago Geoff flew into NYC from London and since I was already back in Texas I decided to fly up and meet him in New York and leave the kiddos behind! We had been apart for 3 and 1/2 weeks! It was so nice to reconnect for a few days before joining back up with the kids for the holidays. A huge thank you to Aunt Cassie and Uncle Teddy for babysitting so that we could do this!! This was my first trip to NYC and it was exciting to be there with all of the Christmas flair :) Geoff was there on business, but was able to getaway with me for some fun too! I didn't take as many pictures as I could have...we just enjoyed having some quality time together, eating yummy food, and taking in the sights! :)

30 Rock (Rockefeller Center)

We went to the "Top of the Rock" and the view was fantastic!

View of Central Park

Had to get a frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity!

They told us after we sat down that this was the same table where they filmed the movie - fun! :)

I am a bakery addict :) So of course we tested a few of them...

Crumbs was the favorite!!

Central Park

We decided to go to a broadway play kind of last minute - it was good!! At the Cort theater...

Our hotel was kind of attached to grand central terminal - convenient!

Street food!! We also ate at Mesa Grill one night (Bobby Flay's first place) and it was delish!!

Times Square/Broadway

We walked up and down 5th avenue - all the holiday decor was very fun! :)

Souvenirs for the kids!
