Brylie's birthday is tomorrow, but we decided to celebrate on Saturday so Geoff could be a part of it! I know I say this every year, but I seriously cannot believe she is 4 years old!!!
She got to open presents right when she got up! :)
Peeking to see what it is...
One of her presents was a dollhouse...we had a lot of fun building it and "staging" the rooms the night before! (sorry, it was still dark when we got up and the lighting in our house is terrible!)

Since it was rainy we decided to go to the science museum (they have an indoor kids area)...Truett wants to sit in a seat like a grown up every time we get on the train now!

Natural History Museum
They had an ice rink set up (the kids are too young) and a carousel. Brylie was so excited to ride it!! By then, we noticed the crowd was growing and the kids were restless so we decided to skip the science museum and head back! It gets dark here early so we were also running out of daylight!
This was the fastest carousel we had ever seen!! We were worried about Brylie whizzing by each time and told her to hold on tight! She was thrilled :)

Before we got back on the tube, we stopped at the Hummingbird Bakery to get some cupcakes for later. This is an American bakery and we have heard good things about it!
Nannie took Truett home and Geoff, Brylie and I did a little shopping and had a coffee together :) In the department store Brylie stopped and said "hey, this is my Daddy!" :)

Since we are baking cookies for Brylie's class tomorrow, we just decided to get some cupcakes instead of baking a cake.
These were good, but we have pretty high standards for baked goods around here so we weren't all that impressed ;) All in all a fun day!! :)
