Truett was two years old yesterday!! I really cannot believe it! It seems like last week that we had just moved here and he was such a tiny baby and went everywhere in the sling and was still nursing and I could go on and on....:) I am sad that our precious baby isn't such a baby anymore (I guess it is worse because he is our last baby!). BUT we are also excited to see him getting bigger and stronger and learning new things and we are so proud of him!!
Truett, we love you so much!!! You are such a little man and have to fight twice as hard to keep up with your boisterous big sister! You have a nap every day still and sleep pretty well at night. We tried to take your pacifiers away yesterday but you missed them so terribly last night that we gave in decided that you could only have them at bedtime. If you are anything like your Mom or Dad then this will be a habit for a while, but I know you will grow out of it when you are ready!! I hope you weren't too scarred by us cutting the paci off your favorite stuffed animal, Bull! You pointed to his mouth where it was missing and just threw him down at my feet and gave me a sad face :( Sweet boy, we thought it would help you, please forgive us!
You love to play with Brylie and walk her to and from school. I love that my lap is still premium seating for you. We have had fun mornings while Brylie is at school and I am thankful for this special time together! You love your Daddy and can't wait for him to walk in the door every day after work so you can wrestle and play rough ;)

Ok, so my original cake idea failed...but who cares?? He liked it and had a great day! :)
A boy after my own heart....mmmm!
So one of his presents from us was a new scooter!! We took him to the park today to try it out, but it all must have been a little overwhelming because he refused to even get on it! And he did not want the helmet on either!

She is such a fast runner! He ran after her all over the park saying "Byyeee"!
C'mon Truey, are you sure you don't want to try?? (he has used Brylie's scooter before and loved it!)

Aw, happy bday Truett! He is just beyond cute. And I love Brylie's hair short by the way... makes me want to chop Brielle's off too.
I took B&B's paci's away cold turkey on their 2nd birthday and I was afraid that I had traumatized them forever but only a few months later they would laugh at me when I told them that they used to use a paci- they had no recollection of it and think it's really silly.
