Greenwich

Saturday we loaded up and headed out to Greenwich for the day! Geoff and I still had not been there, so it was fun for all of us to go and explore together :)

I will miss London in the fall...we don't get all these beautiful colors in Texas! The kids love to collect leaves along the way...

Train savvy

We stopped for lunch at the real food market near the south bank on the way to the boat. They had some yummy treats!

We tried some polish food as well as ostrich and kangaroo!

Waiting for the boat...this is our view of Embankment Place (where Geoff works!)

We took the KPMG clipper along the Thames and got to see some sights along the way!

Pulling in to the pier in Greenwich. There is a pretty university here.

The Cutty Sark (famous old boat that sailed the tea runs to China)

Some nautical touches around town :)

The boys all waiting for the girls to wee ;)

Greenwich has the oldest royal park and it was perfect for the kids to run free!

This one didn't want to leave so we had to haul him away! :)

Nice views of the city from the observatory

As I took this picture Truett stuck his head through the gate and we all ran up to make sure he could get it back out again!!

The prime meridian (0 degrees longitude) and official countdown of the Olympics!

Official time (Greenwich mean time)

Fun hats in the market

This is what Geoff thinks of markets :)

Cute sweets shop :)
