First Day of School!!

It is finally here!! For the last couple of weeks Brylie has been asking every day if it is time to go to school! So today was the day and we were all very excited! She will be in nursery this year at the Church of England Priory School and will go 5 days a week from 8:30am - 11:30am. Lucky for us it is literally just down the street! This week the new kids have all had a different start day and time. So today was Brylie's time and we all went with her for about an hour. Then tomorrow will be her first full day alone - she is ready! :) Geoff was able to join us for a bit too so that was a bonus!

Yesterday Brylie started getting a cold - ugh!! So today she still had a runny nose, etc...you will be able to tell in these pics poor thing! So I'm glad this is just today and tomorrow and she will have the weekend to recover before a full week of school!

Truett thought this day was all about him as well. He wanted to be in every picture and do everything that Brylie did while we were at school :)

So excited to have Daddy walking them!

Such a big girl now!! :)

Found her peg on the wall :)

Inside the nursery. This is the only grade level here that does not wear uniforms...too bad, would have been a lot easier! :) She does have a school sweatshirt and book bag though that we don't have yet...

They keep fruit, veggies, water and milk out for the morning...

Brylie's main teacher, Mrs. Kerrigan :)

She did a great job overall - so confident and settled in right away!

The only small incident we had was with Truey. An older boy pushed him down as he was running out the door. Truett was crying but we settled him down...then a few minutes later the little boy was crying because evidently Truett came up to him and hit his face!! Ugh!! Our sweet boy is going through a violent phase right now and we are ready for him to snap out of it!! So embarrassing...

Brylie's pic on the bottom row :) Brylie, we are so very proud of you!! We love you so much and we know you are going to have a great year!! :)

So fun! And how nice its down the street. These pictures remind me so much of all the nurseries here in Doha. All of them here are British based curriculum. I feel like they're so loving and inviting! So so sad I'm going to miss seeing you in London! boo! Maybe in texas?
