We had a fun 3 day weekend with Geoff - just staying local and hanging out :) Sometimes I just want to capture our family doing normal things and not necessarily an "event" - I definitely miss a lot (sometimes just to soak it up and be a part of it instead of behind the camera!), but I think it will be worth it for future years when we can all look back at the blog books and laugh :)
So anyway, these are just a few highlights from the weekend!

Saturday we headed out to Abbey Mills...just a few bus stops away...it was supposed to be an outdoor market type thing but we were disappointed.
This was it! It was open for an hour already :) Probably won't need to go back!
Since we were close we ended up going back to Deen City Farm which is quickly becoming the summer favorite :)
On the way we waited to see some ducks. We even brought bread to feed them, but they didn't show up!
This time Truett was awake for the fun farm animals!

These chicks have grown a lot in two weeks!

Brylie has no fear of the animals (or really anything for that matter!)
Truett hung back and was very cautious :)
I'm sure she would climb in there with them if she could! Look at that goat's tongue - ha :)
