San Diego

After coming home from Houston we were back in Dallas for a few days and then Geoff had to go back to London :( We miss him so much already and we won't see him until the end of the month! After Geoff left, I flew to San Diego to meet up with my sister and cousins to run in the Rock n Roll half marathon (don't have any interest in doing another full one!!). It was so much fun to have a little girls getaway (the kids stayed behind) and catch up with family that I haven't seen in years! A huge thank you to Nannie and Aunt Cassie for watching my kiddos all weekend!!

Saturday we drove to Orange County for Kira's first birthday party! Let me back up. We stayed with my cousin Beth who lives in San Diego. Her daughter is Kira. Her husband is Mena and his huge Egyptian family all lives in the O.C. and his parents hosted the party!

Family...Aunt Boochie (my Dad's sister) and Uncle John (her husband) joined us for this one. They live in Portland but flew in for the weekend for Kira's bday and we got to see them too for a bonus!

We finished!! What a great weekend with all of you girls! So glad I got to spend some time with you all, I love you!!! Thank you Beth and Mena for letting us crash at your place - hopefully we can all get together again soon! :)
