Easter Weekend

It has been so nice to have Geoff around for a long weekend! We will have another 4 day weekend this week also! On Good Friday we went to The Bertrams for lunch then headed out to Kingston-Upon-Thames for the day. We went to church Sunday (Truett made it all the way through again!!) and just relaxed, cleaned house, went to some parks, and hung out with Daddy the rest of the time. I regret not having a typical Easter picture of us all dressed up but we ran out of time before church and then the kids were pretty much a mess afterwards :) So oh well...here are some pics of the weekend!

At Matt and Cath's house. She had set up a little treasure hunt for the kids...they found hidden eggs and turned them in for candy! Cute!

Caleb

Trading in the eggs. Cath is so sweet checking the marshmallows for any traces of peanuts so that Truey could have one!

Lydia (Caleb's sister). Aren't her cheeks edible??

Kingston is on the water and has a lot of shopping. I didn't get a chance to take too many pics since it took both of us to wrangle in the kiddos the whole time! Here is a little park by a church that we let them run around! We will miss all the fun parks when we move back...

We ate at Jamie's Italian (one of Jamie Oliver's restaurants) for dinner. I had been there before for a girls night out...much different experience this time with kids but the food was yummy! Here is a pic before things got dodgy :)

We were all worn out by the time we got home so we turned on a video for the kids (no they don't watch as much tv as you might think!) so we could all have a little down time! Truett sat like this for a while in a stupor - ha!

The Easter bunny came Sunday morning and left a few treats! They don't have Easter baskets here...the kids are too young to notice the difference anyway :)

Eating candy and listening to Daddy read about what Easter is really about!

Fun times at the park!

Interesting underground trampoline? Dad showing T how it's done :)

They're so cute and getting so big! We have that Easter book, too. Love it!
