We have had fun with the snow in Dallas the last couple of days. Yesterday we woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland and no power!! :) Brylie was excited and couldn't wait to go out and explore! So we just put our coats on over our pj's and headed outside (Brylie has about 5 layers of clothes on! And yes, I realize I look like a total dork with my huge hat but I just threw stuff on to stay warm and went out there!) Too bad everything started to melt a few hours later...but here are some pics!!

Brylie and Geoff tried to build a snowman, but Brylie kept taking her gloves off to touch the snow. Her poor little hands got so cold that she started crying and wanted to come inside, so no snowman!
So after we went back inside and still had no power we decided to load up in the warm car and get some coffee. Then we thought it would be fun to drive around the neighborhood and look at the snow. We started to see a lot of snowmen and thought it would be fun to take a bunch of pictures of everyone else's snowmen since we didn't get to make one! :)
On the median by the house people had come out to build them (can you see all the others in the background?) It was fun to drive around and see people out having a good time in the snow together :)
And the winner goes to....this guy!! Isn't this an awesome snowman? We saw the guys making it and they were really getting into it!

I can't believe how much snow ya'll had! And what fun with all the snowmen. I'm jealous. We've just had cold rain here- no fun.
