Happy Birthday Brylie!!! I can't believe that one year ago we were driving home from the hospital with our precious bundle - scared to death because we didn't know what to do with this delicate cargo! :) I went into labor earlier that afternoon and quickly progressed. Within an hour I knew it was time to go to the hospital so I called Geoff at work to come home! After what seemed like forever he finally made it home - just in time to ask me if I had been charting my contractions properly and if I was really sure we should go (to his credit, they emphasize in the birthing classes to make sure you're having contractions close together for a certain period of time before you head to the hospital). I think he quickly realized that we better book it fast and no more charting was necessary!! I made it to the hospital just in time to get an epidural and then it was time to push! Everything happened so fast! Then we got to meet our little girl for the first time at 9:57pm :) She was 7 pounds 5 ounces and 18.5 inches long. What a blessing she was and is - we are continually thankful for what the Lord has provided for us - she changed our lives forever! :)
This morning Brylie woke up with her birthday present from us - a cute little kitchen! She also had some breakfast waffles :) Here are a few pics as well as some from her birthday one year ago!! :)
