We got home from the store today and Brylie was whining at my feet the whole time I was putting away groceries. I finally looked down at her and she was signing that she wanted milk! It was so cute I grabbed the camera and was able to take a short video of her making the sign before I gave her a bottle and put her out of her misery :) For those of you that don't know signs, the sign for milk looks like milking a cow (opening and closing your hand). Watch her left hand :) We've been signing to her over the last few months but she has just recently started to sign back a little bit - it feels very rewarding after all our efforts! :)

Yea!! That's so cool! I remember I thought Ellie was NEVER going to return a sign. I'm glad y'all kept with it - it's so fun when they start doing it.
Yay, Brylie! That is so awesome! We are still working on Aidan to do it. He just laughs at me when I sign :)
What a smart girl. I don't even know how to sign for food!
Our Brylie is so smart! She will be signing her other signs before long as well. She's made the connection! Nana and Papa are so proud!
